RedLUG is the Redding Linux Users Group. Formerly, with all different members and founder(s), it started out as a local Yahoo group based club where people met and had presentations, and then it disappeared one day and the site was no longer in use and the registration lapsed on the domain. Following this, a few people were meeting through meetup.com for Linux. One of the members, (RedLUG:TimGreer), noticed that redlug.org was no longer in use, so he registered it. When meetup decided to start charging fees, we stopped using their service and instead started coordinating through redlug.org (and this wiki, for now).
We meet twice a month, see RedLUG:NextMeeting for details.
