3 lbs. beef stew meat%BR% 1 - 10 3/4 oz. can broth, beef or vegetable%BR% 3 large carrots, sliced%BR% 1/2 lb. fresh green beans, chopped%BR% 1 1/2 lbs. fresh peas or 2 - 10 oz. bags frozen peas%BR% 1 - 16 oz. can diced tomatoes%BR% 1 cup water%BR% 1/3 cup red wine vinegar%BR% 1 Tbls. brown sugar%BR% 1/2 cup bread crumbs%BR% 2 bay leaves%BR% 1 tsp salt%BR% 1/2 tsp pepper%BR% %BR% Mix all ingredients in crock pot.%BR% Cook 8 to 10 hrs. on low.%BR% %BR% Serve with crusty sourdough bread or biscuits.
